Istisqa secara bahasa adalah meminta turun hujan. Secara istilah yaitu meminta kepada Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala agar menurunkan hujan dengan cara tertentu ketika dibutuhkan hamba-Nya.
Hukum shalat Istisqa adalah sunnah muakkadah bagi yang terkena musibah kelangkaan air untuk minum dan kebutuhan lainnya. Dan dianjurkan bagi kaum Muslimin lainnya yang masih mendapatkan air, sebagai bentuk ukhuwah dan tolong menolong dalam kebaikan dan ketakwaan.
Dalil Shalat Istisqa :
Maka aku katakan kepada mereka: “Mohonlah ampun kepada Tuhanmu, –sesungguhnya Dia adalah Maha Pengampun–,niscaya Dia akan mengirimkan hujan kepadamu dengan lebat, dan membanyakkan harta dan anak-anakmu, dan mengadakan untukmu kebun-kebun dan mengadakan (pula di dalamnya) untukmu sungai-sungai” (QS. Nuh: 10-12)فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا(10)يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِدْرَارًا(11)وَيُمْدِدْكُمْ بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ أَنْهَارًا(12)
Hadits Rasulullah Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam:
َعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: ( خَرَجَ اَلنَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُتَوَاضِعًا, مُتَبَذِّلًا, مُتَخَشِّعًا, مُتَرَسِّلًا, مُتَضَرِّعًا, فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ, كَمَا يُصَلِّي فِي اَلْعِيدِ, لَمْ يَخْطُبْ خُطْبَتَكُمْ هَذِهِ ) رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَأَبُو عَوَانَةَ, وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ
Ibnu Abbas Radhiyallaahu ‘anhu berkata: Nabi Shallallaahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam keluar dengan rendah diri, berpakaian sederhana, khusyu’, tenang, berdoa kepada Allah, lalu beliau shalat dua rakaat seperti pada shalat hari raya, beliau tidak berkhutbah seperti pada shalat hari raya, beliau tidak berkhutbah seperti khutbahmu ini. Riwayat Imam Lima dan dinilai shahih oleh Tirmidzi, Abu Awanah, dan Ibnu Hibban.
عن أَنَسِ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ رَجُلًا دَخَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ مِنْ بَابٍ كَانَ وِجَاهَ الْمِنْبَرِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَائِمٌ يَخْطُبُ فَاسْتَقْبَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَائِمًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلَكَتْ الْمَوَاشِي وَانْقَطَعَتْ السُّبُلُ فَادْعُ اللَّهَ يُغِيثُنَا قَالَ فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا قَالَ أَنَسُ وَلاَ وَاللَّهِ مَا نَرَى فِي السَّمَاءِ مِنْ سَحَابٍ وَلاَ قَزَعَةً وَلاَ شَيْئًا وَمَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ سَلْعٍ مِنْ بَيْتٍ وَلاَ دَارٍ قَالَ فَطَلَعَتْ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ سَحَابَةٌ مِثْلُ التُّرْسِ فَلَمَّا تَوَسَّطَتْ السَّمَاءَ انْتَشَرَتْ ثُمَّ أَمْطَرَتْ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ مَا رَأَيْنَا الشَّمْسَ سِتًّا ثُمَّ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْبَابِ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ الْمُقْبِلَةِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَائِمٌ يَخْطُبُ فَاسْتَقْبَلَهُ قَائِمًا فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَلَكَتْ الْأَمْوَالُ وَانْقَطَعَتْ السُّبُلُ فَادْعُ اللَّهَ يُمْسِكْهَا قَالَ فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ حَوَالَيْنَا وَلَا عَلَيْنَا اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الْآكَامِ وَالْجِبَالِ وَالْآجَامِ وَالظِّرَابِ وَالْأَوْدِيَةِ وَمَنَابِتِ الشَّجَرِ ( البخاري )
Dari Anas bin Malik Radhiyallahu ‘Anh menyebutkan bahwa ada seorang lelaki pada hari Jum’at masuk dari pintu menuju mimbar. Sedang Rasulullah Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam berkhutbah. Dia menemui rasul Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam sambil berdiri dan berkata: wahai Rasulullah Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam telah musnah binatang ternak dan sumber mata air sudah tidak mengalir. Mohonlah pada Allah agar menurunkan air untuk kami. Berkata Anas: Maka Rasulullah Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam Mengangkat kedua tangan ke langit dan berdoa: Ya Allah turunkan bagi kami hujan 3x. Berkata Anas Radhiyallahu ‘Anh Demi Allah pada saat kami tidak melihat di langit mendung, gumpalan awan atau apapun. Dan sebelumnya di antara rumah kami dan gunung tidak ada penghalang untuk melihatnya”. Berkata Anas Radhiyallahu ‘Anh, “Maka muncullah di belakangnya mendung seperti lingkaran. Dan ketika sampai di tengah, menyebar dan turunlah hujan.” Anas Radhiyallahu ‘Anh berkata: “Maka kami tidak melihat matahari selama enam hari”. Kemudian muncul lagi lelaki tersebut dari arah pintu yang sama pada Jum’at sesudahnya dan Rasul Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam sedang khutbah. Dia menghadap Rasul Shalallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam sambil berdiri dan berkata: “Wahai Rasulullah Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam harta-harta hancur dan sungai-sungai penuh, berdoalah kepada Allah agar menghentikannya. Maka Rasulullah Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam mengangkat tangan dan berdoa Ya Allah berilah hujan sekeliling kami bukan adzab bagi kami, jatuh pada tanah, gunung-gunung, pegunungan, bukit-bukit, danau- danau dan tempat tumbuh pepohonan” (HR. Bukhari)
Macam-Macam Istisqa
Istisqa memiliki tiga macam, yaitu:
- Istisqa yang paling ringan, yaitu doa tanpa shalat dan tidak juga setelah shalat di masjid atau selain masjid, sendiri atau jamaah. Dan sebaiknya dilakukan oleh orang-orang yang shalih.
- Istisqa pertengahan, yaitu doa setelah shalat Jum’at atau shalat lainnya, ketika khutbah Jum’at atau khutbah yang lain.
- Istisqa yang paling utama adalah Istisqa dengan di dahului shalat dua rakaat dan dua khutbah. Dilakukan oleh Muslim, baik musafir atau muqim, penduduk kampung atau kota.
Waktu Istisqa
Jika hanya doa, maka dapat dilakukan kapan saja, dan lebih baik jika dilakukan saat khutbah Jum’at. Jika doa dan shalat maka dapat dilakukan kapan saja, tetapi jangan dilakukan pada waktu yang dimakruhkan shalat. Waktu yang utama adalah pada waktu Dhuha sampai Zhuhur sebagaimana shalat Id.
Tempat Shalat Istisqa
Shalat Istisqa dapat dilakukan di masjid atau di luar masjid
Adab Sebelum Shalat Istisqa
- Memperbanyak istighfar dan taubat di hari-hari sebelumnya
- Menghindari perbuatan zhalim dan mengembalikan hak-hak orang yang terzhalimi
- Didahului dengan berpuasa tiga hari
- Hari pelaksanaan dianjurkan puasa.
- Memperbanyak sedekah.
- Sebelum pelaksanaan, disunnahkan melakukan thaharah seperti, mandi, bersiwak, menjauhkan perhiasan dan wangi-wangian, memakai baju yang sederhana.
- Berangkat ke tempat dalam keadaan tawadhu, khusyu’, berharap pada Allah.
Tata Cara Pelaksanaan Shalat Istisqa
- Shalat dua rakaat, sebagaimana shalat ‘Id, rakaat pertama takbir tujuh kali dan kedua lima kali. Ibnu Abbas berkata:” lakukan pada Istisqa seperti pada waktu ‘Id”.
- Rakaat pertama disunnahkan membaca surat Al-A’la dan rakaat kedua surat Al-Ghasiyah
- Setelah shalat, diteruskan dengan khutbah dua kali.
- Berdoa menghadap kiblat dan mengangkat dua tangan.
- Dianjurkan doa Istisqa dibacakan oleh Ahli Bait dan orang shalih
- Bertawasul dengan amal shalih
- Khusus untuk kaum lelaki disunnahkan memindahkan dan membalikkan selendang atau sorbannya.
- Dianjurkan imam keluar bersama masyarakat.
- Dianjurkan membawa binatang ternak.
Doa Istisqa :
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ اَلْعَالَمِينَ, اَلرَّحْمَنِ اَلرَّحِيمِ, مَالِكِ يَوْمِ اَلدِّينِ, لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اَللَّهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ, اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ اَللَّهُ, لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ, أَنْتَ اَلْغَنِيُّ وَنَحْنُ اَلْفُقَرَاءُ, أَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا الْغَيْثَ, وَاجْعَلْ مَا أَنْزَلْتَ قُوَّةً وَبَلَاغًا إِلَى حِينٍ
اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا, اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنا غَيْثاً مُغِيثاً هَنِيئاً مَرِيئاً غَدَقاً مُجَلِّلاً سَحّاً عامّاً طَبَقاً دَائِماً؛ اللَّهُمَّ على الظِّرَابِ وَمَنابِتِ الشَّجَرِ، وَبُطُونِ الأوْدِيَةِ؛ اللَّهُمَّ إنَّا نَسْتَغْفِرُكَ إِنَّكَ كُنْتَ غَفّاراً، فأرْسلِ السَّماءَ عَلَيْنا مِدْرَاراً؛ اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنا الغَيْثَ وَلا تَجْعَلْنا مِنَ القَانِطِينَ. اللهم إنَّ بِالعِبادِ والبِلادِ والبهائم والخلق من اللأواء والجهد والضنك ما لا نشكوه إلا إليك. اللَّهُمَّ أنْبِتْ لَنا الزَّرْعَ، وَأدِرَّ لَنا الضَّرْعَ، وَاسْقِنا مِنْ بَرَكاتِ السَّماءِ، وأنْبِتْ لَنا مِنْ بَرَكاتِ الأرْضِ؛ اللَّهُمَّ ارْفَعْ عَنَّا الجَهْدَ وَالجُوعَ والعُرْيَ، واكْشِفْ عَنَّا مِنَ البَلاءِ ما لا يَكْشِفُهُ غَيْرُكَ
اللهم اسقنا الغيثَ وانصرنا على الأعداء. اللهم أنت أمرتنا بدعائك ووعدتنا إجابتك، وقد دعوناك كما أمرتنا فأجبنا كما وعدتنا، اللهم امنن علينا بمغفرة ما قارفنا، وإجابتك في سقيانا، وسعة رزقنا.
Segala puji bagi Allah Rabbul ‘alamin yang Maha Pengasih lagi Maha Penyayang, yang merajai hari pembalasan, tidak ada Tuhan selain Allah yang melakukan apa yang Ia kehendaki, ya Allah Engkaulah Allah tidak ada Tuhan selain Engkau, Engkau Mahakaya dan kami orang-orang fakir, turunkanlah pada kami hujan, dan jadikan apa yang Engkau turunkan sebagai kekuatan dan bekal hingga suatu batas yang lama.
Ya Allah, turunkan bagi kami hujan 3x, Ya Allah, turunkan bagi kami hujan yang menyuburkan, menyejahterakan, bermanfaat, mengalir dari atas ke bawah merata, dan terus-menerus kebaikannya bagi negeri dan penghuninya. Ya Allah pada pegunungan, Shalallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallamah ladang dan danau-danau. Ya Allah kami beristighfar kepada-Mu, sesungguhnya Engkau penerima ampun, turunkan kepada hujan dari langit yang terus menerus memberikan kebaikan. Ya Allah turunkanlah hujan dan jangan jadikan kami termasuk orang-orang yang putus asa. Ya Allah negeri dan penduduknya mengalami kesulitan, kesengsaraan, kesempitan dan kami tidak mengadu kecuali kepada-Mu. Ya Allah tumbuhkanlah bagi kami tanaman, suburkanlah susu-sus ternak kami, turunkanlah hujan dari keberkahan langit dan tumbuhkanlah tanaman dari keberkahan bumi. Ya Allah angkatlah dari kami kesusahan, kelaparan, dan terbukanya aurat, singkapkan dari kami musibah dan tidak ada yang dapat menyingkapkannya kecuali Engkau
Ya Allah turunkanlah hujan dan tolonglah kami atas musuh. Ya Allah Engkau telah memerintahkan kami untuk berdoa, dan berjanji untuk mengabulkan. Dan kami telah berdoa sebagaimana engkau perintahkan, maka kabulkanlah sebagaimana Engkau telah janjikan. Ya Allah berikanlah anugerah ampunan-Mu atas kesalahan kami, dan kabulkan hujan untuk kami dan kelapangan rezeki.
Doa Ketika Hujan Telah Turun
اللّهُمَّ اجْعَلهُ صَيِّبَاً هَنِيئاً نافعاً. اللهم حوالينا ولا علينا.ويقولون: مُطِرْنَا بِفَضْلِ اللهِ وَرَحْمَتِهِ
Ya Allah jadikan hujan yang menyejahterakan dan bermanfaat. Ya Allah turunkan di sekeliling kami bukan adzab bagi kami. Dan jamaah mengucapkan:” Hujan turun dengan karunia dan rahmat Allah.
وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وأصحابه أجمعين
Istisqa the language is requested to rain. In terms of the request to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to lower rainfall in certain ways when needed servants.
The law is a sunnah prayer Istisqa to an affected muakkadah scarcity of water for drinking and other needs. And recommended for other Muslims are still getting water, as a form of connect and helping each other in goodness and piety.
Dalil Prayer Istisqa
Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says:
فقلت استغفروا ربكم إنه كان غفارا (10) يرسل السماء عليكم مدرارا (11) ويمددكم بأموال وبنين ويجعل لكم جنات ويجعل لكم أنهارا (12)
So I say to them: 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord, surely He is Oft-Forgiving-, He will send rain to you in abundance, and augment wealth and your children, and you hold gardens and held (also in it) you rivers "(Surah Nuh: 10-12)
Hadith Rasool's Wa Sallam:
عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال: (خرج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم متواضعا, متبذلا, متخشعا, مترسلا, متضرعا, فصلى ركعتين, كما يصلي في العيد, لم يخطب خطبتكم هذه) رواه الخمسة, وصححه الترمذي, وأبو عوانة, وابن حبان
Ibn Abbas Radhiyallaahu 'anhu said: The Prophet Shallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam out with low self-esteem, dressed modestly, humility, quiet, praying to God, and he prayed two rak'ahs as the feast day of prayer, he was not preaching as the feast day of prayer, he was not preaching like this khutbahmu. عن أنس بن مالك يذكر أن رجلا دخل يوم الجمعة من باب كان وجاه المنبر ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قائم يخطب فاستقبل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قائما فقال يا رسول الله هلكت المواشي وانقطعت السبل فادع الله يغيثنا قال فرفع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يديه فقال اللهم اسقنا اللهم اسقنا اللهم اسقنا قال أنس ولا والله ما نرى في السماء من سحاب ولا قزعة ولا شيئا وما بيننا وبين سلع من بيت ولا دار قال فطلعت من ورائه سحابة مثل الترس فلما توسطت السماء انتشرت ثم أمطرت قال والله ما رأينا الشمس ستا ثم دخل رجل من ذلك الباب في الجمعة المقبلة ورسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قائم يخطب فاستقبله قائما فقال يا رسول الله هلكت الأموال وانقطعت السبل فادع الله يمسكها قال فرفع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يديه ثم قال اللهم حوالينا ولا علينا اللهم على الآكام والجبال والآجام والظراب والأودية ومنابت الشجر (البخاري)
From Anas ibn Malik radi 'Anh said that there was a man on Friday entered from the door to the pulpit. Medium Rasool's preaching Wa Sallam. Ask Allah to lower the water for us. Anas said: Then the Messenger of Allaah Alaihi Wa Sallam Lifting his hands to heaven and prayed: O Allah sends down rain for us 3x. Said Anas radi 'By Allah Anh when we did not see in the sky overcast, clouds or anything. And before that in between our house and the mountain there are no obstructions to view it ". Said Anas radi 'Anh, "Then came the clouds behind him like a halo. And when he arrived at the center, spread and the rain descended. "Anas radi 'Anh said:" So we do not see the sun for six days. " Then came another man from the same door on the Friday after and the Messenger of Allaah 'Alaihi Wa Sallam was the sermon. He is the Messenger of Allaah 'alaihi wa sallam said, stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allaah Alaihi Wa Sallam treasures destroyed and rivers full, pray to God to stop it. So Rasool's Wa Sallam raised his hands and prayed, 'God give us rain instead adzab around for us, fall on the ground, mountains, mountains, hills, lakes and trees growing place "(Narrated by Bukhari)
Various Kinds Istisqa
Istisqa has three kinds, namely:
Istisqa the lightest, that no prayer and no prayer also after prayers in mosques and churches and synagogues, alone or in congregation. And should the righteous people.
Istisqa middle, the prayer after the Friday Prayer or other prayers, when the Friday khutbah or sermon the other.
Istisqa the main thing is Istisqa preceded by prayers at the two cycles and two sermons. Carried out by Muslims, either traveling or Muqim, village or city residents.
Time Istisqa

Procedure of Prayer Istisqa
Prayed two rak'ahs, as the prayer 'Id, the first cycles takbir seven times and second five times. Ibn Abbas said: "do the Istisqa like during 'Id'.
The first cycles disunnahkan read surat Al-A'la and second cycles of Al-Ghasiyah
After the prayer, followed by the sermon twice.

Especially for men disunnahkan move and reverse scarf or turban.

الحمد لله رب العالمين, الرحمن الرحيم, مالك يوم الدين, لا إله إلا الله يفعل ما يريد, اللهم أنت الله, لا إله إلا أنت, أنت الغني ونحن الفقراء, أنزل علينا الغيث, واجعل ما أنزلت قوة وبلاغا إلى حين
اللهم اسقنا اللهم اسقنا اللهم اسقنا, اللهم اسقنا غيثا مغيثا هنيئا مريئا غدقا مجللا سحا عاما طبقا دائما; اللهم على الظراب ومنابت الشجر, وبطون الأودية; اللهم إنا نستغفرك إنك كنت غفارا, فأرسل السماء علينا مدرارا; اللهم اسقنا الغيث ولا تجعلنا من القانطين. اللهم إن بالعباد والبلاد والبهائم والخلق من اللأواء والجهد والضنك ما لا نشكوه إلا إليك. اللهم أنبت لنا الزرع, وأدر لنا الضرع, واسقنا من بركات السماء, وأنبت لنا من بركات الأرض; اللهم ارفع عنا الجهد والجوع والعري, واكشف عنا من البلاء ما لا يكشفه غيرك
اللهم اسقنا الغيث وانصرنا على الأعداء. اللهم أنت أمرتنا بدعائك ووعدتنا إجابتك, وقد دعوناك كما أمرتنا فأجبنا كما وعدتنا, اللهم امنن علينا بمغفرة ما قارفنا, وإجابتك في سقيانا, وسعة رزقنا.
Praise be to Allah the Lord of all the worlds, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, who ruled the Day of Judgment, there is no god but Allah does what He wills, O God, thou God there is no god but You, You Rich, and we are poor people, we derive the rain, and make what Thou hast revealed as the power and provision to a limit of time.
O Allah, send down rain 3x for us, O God, for our lower rainfall and fertile, prosperous, rewarding, flows evenly from top to bottom, and constant kindness to the country and its inhabitants. O Allah, on mountains, Allaah 'alaihi wa Sallamah fields and lakes. O our God forgiveness of Thee, Thou art the recipient's sake, to rain down from the sky which kept giving goodness. Ya Allah derive the rain and do not make us among those who are desperate. O God of the land and its people in trouble, sorrow, narrowness, and we do not complain except to You. Ya Allah tumbuhkanlah for our plants, dairy-sus suburkanlah our cattle, derive the blessing of rain from heaven and crops tumbuhkanlah of blessing the earth. Ya Allah lift of our hardship, famine, and the opening of the genitalia, uncovered from our misfortune and nothing taken away unless you
O God of rain and help us derive the enemy. O Allah, You have commanded us to pray, and promised to grant. And we have to pray, as you say, then kabulkanlah as You have promised. O Allah, grant forgiveness of thy grace upon our mistakes and grant us rain for sustenance and spaciousness.
Prayer When the Rain Has Dropped
